PCB "Fab-In-A-Box" ... The 8min circuit board system

Get ready to see the next
generation of "instant" PCB fabrication!

Notice in the double-sided circuit board has two 44pin PLCC chips on .008" traces. Below the enclosure notice the 3 basic steps... design on screen, print to the transfer medium and refuse the toner image to a blank copper laminate.

Now, entry-level through advanced electronic hobbyists, midnight engineers, R&D labs and educators have a new found capability with unprecidented reliability. Try it yourself for a month and if you don't absolutely love it, we'll buy it back... regardless of how much was used!

Here's another example with a little more detail of the basic technique. Here we see the initial schematic concept laid out on screen followed up by proofing the design using a conventional solderless breadboard. Once the circuit is operationally verified, time to draw the PCB. This particular design required a double-sided layout. The finished design is then printed, images transferred and then etched... all done! Boards are ready for drilling and stuffing and soldering. (Courtesy of Erik Walthinsen)

Toner Image Applicator (TIA)
All you need is the "kit" and "applicator" to make professional quality boards in minutes. Use your laser printer (or copier) a bowl of water and a roll of paper towel!

There is no simpler, faster, cheaper or more efficient method to fabricate 1-up projects, prototypes or limited mass-production anywhere on the market!

Here's a typical sequence for the typical project, prototype, etc. Photos submitted courtesy of Erik Walthinsen. " I was browsing through some stuff and ran across this again, figured you'd like to see one of the boards I've done with your product. Pictured is a 1.5" diameter board with 8mil trace/space, doublesided for handwired vias, and places for TQFP-32 and LCC-20 chips among others. Soldering the thing was a pain, but actually making the PCB was pretty darn easy.
