Notice at the bottom of this particular panel where the customer used DecalPRO® for identifying the row of switches at the bottom. The Text was simply printed out on a laser printer then converted from regular black toner to pure white with one of the special foils, converted into a dry-transfer graphic and applied to the panel. There is no residue, carrier or any other marks making it very difficult to tell the difference between a factory printed panel and one made with the inexpensive DecalPRO® system. Take a quick peek at these two images side by side (below) that we captured at the 2007 Sun 'n Fun. Why would a builder who has just spend a small fortune fabricating a beautiful flying machine stop short of a beautiful looking panel that is constantly being looked at? We figure it can only be one of two reasons - one of which make no sense to us at all.

A) The builder didn't want to spend any more TIME or MONEY ... or,
B) The builder didn't know about DecalPRO®
We kind of think the latter was the case. You know, prior to the development of DecalPRO it was too expensive and time consuming of a job to do, so out would come the hand-held tape labeler and the panel is done - like it or not! That's a real shame to see this. The entire DecalPRO® kit INCLUDING the required laminating device is only $159.90! That's not a lot of money spent on making your hardware look as beautiful as it should. Woudn't you agree?

Within the EAA, AEA and aircraft upholstery communities, DecalPRO® is most widely used during the initial build of the control panel or later when when avionics and other control switches are updated or part of a complete "makeover" of the cockpit. This process enables the "end user" (you) to be able to create and maintain the same aesthetics of the panel with respect to the original color, size and font originally used.

CLICK on these two pictures to enlarge. This panel maker wanted pure white nomenclature for his switch and placard labeling. What's very interesting here is that these grapics are actually black toner made from an ordinary laser printer. One of the specialty foils in the DecalPRO® kit is white. You literally convert black toner into pure white images. This is a first in anybody's book for easy Do-It-Yourself dry-transfer graphics. The important thing to remember here is that when you make your own images with our system, there is no 'residue' or permanent carrier in, around or on top of the graphic! It's a REAL pressure sensitive, dry-transfer image. This capability has never existed before for the end user to be able to make in under 10 minutes.
