Hi Frank, The device I just finished making guides a vehicle to hitch with a trailer by one person. It uses 3 boards, all double sided with SMD components. It is pretty dense but I used .015" traces for ruggedness as it will be thrown in a toolbox or such. Had no problem with the print even though one board is 2X10 inches. Etched with your "direct contact" process in about 1-2 minutes. I used eyelets on the vias and soldered both sides. A protype set of boards from one of the on-line companies would cost about $200 and I went through about 5 sets before all the bugs were worked out so you saved me about $900 on the design. Bob ?
Hi Frank! I design and make the handheld props for TV and Motion pictures. I currently do all the Star Trek series and movies. Thanks again for all of your help! Brian M.
Hi Frank, I dont know if you remember me, but Im the Network Admin over at MOSI (in Tampa) who purchased some boards and TTS paper from you about a year ago. My background is in computer control and robotic circuit design. Well recently I decided it was time to upgrade my process. I went to your site to look at a TTS transfer unit and saw your new page about the TIA laminator. It sounded like it might be the answer to my transfer problems, so I ordered one. Before I had a chance to try it, I found out about a new low cost laser printer, the HP1012. I balanced my checkbook, delayed paying a bill or two for a week or so and bought one for $197. I prepared artwork for 11 boards and ran them through the TIA. As soon as the paper floated free, I could tell they were perfect images. Even down to the REALLY fine crosshairs and board outlines Ive never gotten to the board before (without beefing them up). Then I etched. Every one of them was perfect. Still 100% - Im impressed. Thank you for all of your help and advice. John ?
Hi Frank: I am amazed in what you have come up with. I plan to talk it up with friends of mine to introduce them to your products. Alvin P.
I just had to let you know how great I think your Toner Transfer System is. I have been making prototype boards for years and have hated every minute of it. The Toner Transfer System is truly revolutionary, I'm just sorry I hadn't heard about it sooner. It really is a great, great product. Tim C.
Hey Guys! I bought your toner transfer paper from Digi-Key. I read and re-read the docs and got everything set in my mind as what to do and how it would ber done. I used WinBoard to product the PCB to your paper and a Radio Shack etching kit. I wasn't expecting much but was thrilled with my results for the first attempt was perfect. It could not have worked out any better. Thanks for providing such a product, I'm sold and just wanted to let you know how it worked. Thanks again, Ralph H.
Thank you Frank! I'm lovin' the system. I wish I had more face plates to be done. I think I'll go prototype some boards just for fun, I can always work Saturday. Have a great weeknd. Denny D.
I would like to thank you for your development of the Toner Transfer System. Until I purchased your equipment, my students were limited to making pcb's using paint pens, dry transfer, or photo processing. None of these earlier processes met with very good success and introduced a high frustration level for my students as they incurred failure after failure with their projects. Steve R (High School Teacher)
Frank: I've just started setting up a small "fab lab" at our research facility using some of your goodies and have had very good results. We also have a small CNC machine that really makes drilling the holes in the proto's a snap. Thanks for taking us out of the wire-wrap era! Mark B. McDonald Observatory
Hi there Frank: I really appreciate your interest in making a pretty good product... much better! Terry Y.
Frank: I just wanted to send profound thanks for your Toner Transfer System. We are a very small R&D firm. At the end of this week we learnjed that potential investors were interested in one of our new designs. Packaging this design required a small printed circuit board. With a one week deadline, I searched the internet and came upon your product. As a very smjall organization, money is a key issue. A prototype shop wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars for this very simple board. Your product saved us nearly all of that cost, plus many hours of valuable time. When I first read of your product, I was slightly sceptical. I figured there would be a lot of touch up work required. But, my first attempt with 50+ 1mm traces was 100% successful. It took me less than 4 hours from ddesign to a working board. Mark E.
Hello Frank: My own projects are going well and are finally beginning to pay me back for all the hard work I've been putting into them for the past few years. I've done lots of "paid once" design/prototype jobs (i.e. Doormate, Jacuzzi, etc.) and I still work full time but if my "projects" move ahead and are successful, I may be able to finally say goodbye to working "9 to 5" and from paycheck to paycheck. You know, in a way, you inspired me to work on such projects. I've always admired the way you invented your own product line and done things for yourself. Right after I completed college, I found your products first in a mag, then much later online, and thought "I wish I could make something and sell it like this guy does". Coming up with the idea is hard enough, although I had several, but selling it successfully is another thing altogether. I've never been much of a salesperson or accountant, so it was very hard to get anywhere. Bill B.
I ordered the TTS paper from DigiKey. It is a terrific product. We use it like crazy in my electronics class here at North Catroll High School. Regards, Karl H.
Just received your special paper and succeeded to make an operational board on only the second try. The toner came off the board on the first try -insufficient iron pressure I guess. Planned to submit an order for some of your accessories including a TIA when the bean counters release some money. John S, Marine Corp
Hi Frank. I received the package and everything looks great! I made a small PC board last night. I can't believe how quickly the 1/4 oz copper etched! I think I could see light through the board after only about 30 seconds! Complete etch occurred in 2-3 minutes. Can you believe I had been using 2 oz. copper clad board? Tony Z.
The new hot press laminator works great. It's the best so far. It by far works better than the original and blows away the vacuum press setup. I made a double sided board mostly SMT stuff. The alignment went pretty well. I use post it notes to affix a small piece of toner transfer paper to the printed paper image when I make the laser printer print and also to hold the toner transfer image to the copper clad board. I'm still playing with the stuff, but, it's made the process much more reliable and repeatable. The sponge etch now works much better with the toner stuck to the copper is solid. I guess before, I must of not used enough heat or had trouble maintaining pressure across the whole image to get good toner transfer. Wayne Y.
Hi, I thought I'd mention that, in addition to other fine schools in your list of educational users, my students in the Physics department at UCLA have used the DynaArt process to make small PC boards for a couple of years now. Fast, convenient, and hell, even fun! Ravi N.

The Toner Transfer System is truly revolutionary, I'm just sorry I hadn't heard about it sooner. It really is a great, great product. I just received the SuperFuser yesterday and it works very well also. Tim C.
We use your SuperFuser applicator and WaveMaster etcher and we think they're great. It's a quick, clean, easy and reliable way to make prototype PC boards. Your system really woks exactly as advertised and it saves us time and money every time we use it. We've make everything from ground-plane power supply boards to SMT prototypes with lines as small as 10 mills. Thanks again for a great product! John P.

Hi there Frank. I really appreciate your interest in making a pretty good product... much better! I enjoy making things. Guess that is part of the reason that building RC planes is one of my hobbies. Terry Y.
Frank, I purchased your Instant Circuit Board paper and copper PCB from JDR [Microdevices] in California. I made a circuit last year (RF Board) and tried out the paper. You are very correct in saying to practice. [No practice needed with the SuperFuser we might add here]. I tried a few times and finally it to work. The paper had problems freeing from the board in the water. I increased the water level and this helped. I sprayed with a clear lacquer to protect it. I silver plated both sides and it looks great. Thanks for your product and 73's! Joe R.
It WORKS! In the past I have tried many, many products with the flat iron method. The results were disappointing, (actually they were junk). I was skeptical, but I tried the SuperFuser with your paper. After several attempts, I became surprisingly successful. I can achieve 8 mil lines, most of the time, on my double sided microwave [!] boards. Just finished eight 2450 MHz circuits. Only had a problem with a very small section of an 8 mil trace. Everything else was perfect on both sides. So far, I have used FR-4, Glasteel Laminates products, (MD-5 and GML-1000). What more can I say, the machine does the job for which it is intended. Joe U.
And just so that you don't think we're "stuffing the ballot box", a customer wrote in...
"I don't think you shold [should] be selling this piece of garbish [garbage] out to the general public. its [It's] too finicky [of a] piece of crap and at $24.00 dollars anybody can do better than that. [Before we had a drastic price drop years ago]. What you are doing in your advertising is [a] misleading representation of a product that is crack up [should be "not cracked up" I think he means to say] to be what you say it is. I wasted $24.00, a few PCB's, and countless hours trying to make it work. It didn't!!!. I will make shure [sure] I pass the word out..."
Name withheld for obvious resons! We did refund him his total purchase price as our guarantee states and he went on his merry way. As hard as you might try to produce a good product line with great customer service, you just can't please all of the people all of the time.
