Definently not in the definition of "quick-prototyping"! This process is only practical for mass production of a large number of boards.
You have the same basic requirements as that of the photographic process described earlier, with the only difference being instead of applying an emulsion to each and every circuit board, you only expose and develop a screen which has been coated with a photo-sensitive material.
It IS fun to play with if you've never done it before and a real eye-opener into the myriad of applications that silk screening can be used for. After exposing the screen, you place the PCB under the frame, load in your special ink into the top of the frame and rake across the screen. Where the screen is "open", ink falls through to the board. Lift the frame and let the board dry before you can etch it.
